As a fan, I am pretty disappointed in the effort of the Sharks. I don't like what I'm seeing, I don't want what I'm seeing. A team with such a solid offensive core can't seem to put the puck in the net. 7 Shutouts against this season. The team record is 9 in a season. I'm starting to think that will change. I'm an optimist, but it's really hard to see how this team will start playing consistent, good hockey. There's talk that this team will turn it around eventually. But what if that eventually is too late.
I know the Western Conference is a traffic jam (3 points separate 4th from 11th) but a good team would take advantage of this parity with wins. I can only hope that they start with 1 win and go from there. This is one frustrating season. The playoffs are inching ever so close; I sure as heck hope the Sharks will start a push for the top 8 soon. There we have it, my pent up frustration in a few sentences. I could have probably gone off a bit more, but I still have a tad bit of hope. Feel free to express your concerns, vent your anger, etc. I love the Sharks, they just aren't loving me back. It's sure as heck is an abusive relationship. Go Sharks.
