Sharks to add Souray?
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news?slug=ap-oilers-souraywaivers
okay I know that his name used to be brought up as a possible blue-line reinforcement, but now imo, is the perfect time to grab him and give up....next to nothing. Yea, we have Ian White now, but why not add another puck moving d man? I know he's not the "cure all" for our ailments in the back but he's a nice pickup for a few bucks instead of trading Gooch for a high profile guy. Lets go Dougie.

Someone else will grab him. The Sharks are too far down the list, if indeed they want him.
If you mention ending your life, or show signs of self-harm, I will take you seriously!

Shameless plug for my music.
Souray isn’t that good of a fit. And we’re already at the cap and he’s another 2mil.
Believing in the Sharks, one photoshop at a time. GO SHARKS!
He’s so old and easily breakable. M.A. Bergeron or Curtis Foster are better choices for his role. It would mean shipping out draft picks though…
I rec’d that shit.
He’s old, slow, totally injury prone, and is just bad. The Oilers would put him on waivers the millisecond ANY team in this league asked for him just to get him off their books (especially after they did so twice before sending him down), and the fact that no one has up to this point in the season (and for a reduced cap hit cause of re-entry) says it all. On top of it all, he’s been playing terrible in the AHL from what I read.
Our team looks solid right now, we don’t need to add anyone unless we were able to ship out both Wallin and Huskins for their replacement, but frankly I don’t see that happening since Wallin has a NTC. Any team that would take them both wouldn’t likely be in playoff contention and thus doubtful Wallin would want to be shipped out to them. So if we add another blueliner, it’d be an offseason thing to fill the gap when Huskins and Wallin are let go (and that’s if the staff doesn’t think Braun or another prospect is ready for it).
Dear god no.
Souray is done.

Because hes on re-entry sharks would only be on the hook for half.
Who’s gonna finish this off? I am going Boyle. - FML! No more OT Predictions from me!
Which mind you is still to much.

2.5 milli
does indeed seem like a lot for someone a wee bit past their prime-and with the injury proneness of a toothpick.

More power to them- they need all the help they can get. Although they have been playing well as of late. Ilya maybe earning a 1/15 of his salary…
