Gameday Thread: Sharks @ Stars

Dallas might be the team that has given San Jose the most trouble this season. Coming off a disheartening loss to the Chicago Blackhawks last night, there's a lot at stake here for San Jose. A loss in regulation would put Dallas two points back in the Division race with a game in hand, and a Los Angeles win against the Nashville Predators would put the Kings in a similar position, one point back with a game in hand.

San Jose has a lot of hard hockey to play down the stretch, with the vast majority of their games coming against Western Conference rivals and Pacific Division contenders. Tonight is an excellent opportunity to get things back on track and reassert themselves as a team that was getting hot at the right time. Doing so in Dallas, on a back to back, with a two point swing on the table is about as perfect a scenario as one can imagine.

Puck drops at 5:30.
