Someone mentioned to me that the way Thornton and Marleau and some of the other Canadian Shark players were approaching playing Luongo (who's Canadian) was different than the previous two series with American goalies, Quick and Howard.
For example, guys were constantly spraying Quick and Howard every chance they got. I didn't see Luongo get sprayed once or was it just me? Any legitimacy to this point? After all, Luongo was the Goalie for the Canadian national team where they were all teammates. Maybe giving Luongo too much respect and were afraid to try and intimidate him?
