Damn that TicketBastard and their "Dynamic Ticket Pricing"! I just tried to buy tickets for game 5 and seats in the upper tier (220-225) are $129 ($142 w/ fees)! Once again the prices are over double what the actual ticket price is. I know because I am a 10 pack holder and was at Friday's game and the actual ticket price was $68! I don't understand how Shark fans can afford to cheer the Sharks in person.
Which leads me a story I heard on Wednesday. Apparently a Shark fan robbed a bank. I don't condone robbing banks and hopefully this guy gets caught, but with playoff ticket prices as high as they are (and gas and food so expensive) I can see this kind of desperation occurring in fans.
