Vancouver Riot 2011. This is a very well done video that give you a real feel of what it was like in Downtown Vancouver after the end of the SCF game and the chaos that ensued.

Sad
just sad.
I wonder how many of those people got caught up in the melee, who wouldn’t normally do such things, but were emotionally dragged into being destructive. Mob mentality. It usually is a very tiny minority that start the crap, but then more and more join them until it becomes a riot. Then those involved give the whole city, Region, and even the whole Country, a bad image.
If you mention ending your life, or show signs of self-harm, I will take you seriously!

My God.
These riots are so heartbreaking to me. Vancouver lost, they played a good series, but the better team in Boston won. And they did this shit to their town. I can only hope by all the videos and pictures that are up on the internet that some of these folks that did harm to property and people are punished for their crimes. It just makes me sick to see these things. It really saddens me.

Believing in Team Teal since 2009. Go Sharks!!!!
Fans did this shit… my “And they did this shit to their town” made it sound like the hockey players did this, I am speaking of the fans, or lack of fans that did this. I would be embarrassed to call these people fans of anything, well unless you call them Fans of Destruction.

It sounded like some people showed up ready and looking to riot though. Who goes to watch a hockey game with a can of gasoline and / or a face mask?

Every metropolis...
…has a large number, though a miniscule proportion, of people that are capable of ugly behavior like this. Vancouver is a beautiful city and it is sad that these jerks use a hockey game as an excuse to behave like this. But again, it happens all over the world. I wonder if anyone will do a video about the folks that came out to help clean up. We need reminders of the other side of human nature.
I would rather be happy than right any day.
