Holy Lockouts, Plankman!

Both the NBA and NFL have locked out their players for the upcoming season. NBA still has time to reach an agreement, but we're looking at the possibility that two major sports leagues will not be on the field/court. Perhaps the NHL finally grabs a bigger market share in the United States? One can hope. With teams like Tampa, Carolina, Washington and Nashville finding success in strange markets, and teams like Florida, Columbus, Colorado and Phoenix taking long strides to become competitive, could the NHL see a surge of popularity this year?
