Do I feign surprise, or how's this work?

Ehhh...

He’s getting a LOT of hate for this from the Puck Daddy readers (not PD, surprisingly) but given Yahoo’s readerbase I’m not the leastbit surprised.

Thing of it is, LA cops have used up all their benefit of the doubt. Not all cops—not by a longshot—mind you. I love cops in general (hate the citizen-jags in Campbell who drive around the residential areas looking for reasons to ticket parked cars… But those aren’t paid cops. Just Big Brother BS with a dash of Pleasantville thrown in for good measure) but the LAPD has earned a healthy dose of scepticism when they arrest someone.

LA’s the only city in the country where you can “shove” a cop by looking at them from 10 feet away with your hands in your pockets.

From what I understand of LA...

It’s a city run and controlled by the rich, while the poor (who aren’t nearly as bad as people say) are aggressively demonized into being a subservient underclass. Plus there’s the smog, earthquakes, rapid expansion, chronic water shortage coming in the near future, and a serious lack of snow. Can’t say I’m a fan of the place.

In regard to the parking comment though, parking enforcement isn’t police at all. They’re usually a separate branch in the city government. They search out cars to ticket for two reasons: Because the car is parked illegally, and because cities need money to operate (and you’d better believe dinging people who don’t read the signs is a solid income for the city).

Last year, they had a lot of snow in the mountains...

Pretty much everywhere in CA did in the last 2 years…

That said. I’m glad Avery is NOT part of the Sharks Organization.

Drew: 'Oh no.. That is certainly the meaty part alright, but it's not the thigh..."
Randy: "No... that bone is NOT connected to the thigh bone..."
