FTF Podcast: An All-Star Celebration

In this week's edition of the Fear The Fin podcast it's the same old same old from Jason Plank and Matt Taylor as they sit down to analyze the team. After a brief, short, and concise look at the All-Star game as well the festivities surrounding this past weekend, Plank and Taylor address a few points of interest surrounding the Sharks as they exit the break.

The Ryane Clowe rumors that were published in the Ottawa Sun and subsequently debunked by David Pollak of Working The Corners are discussed, along with an update on the injuries to Brent Burns and the aforementioned Clowe. The boys then break down the top six's scoring woes as of late, look into the acquisition of Tim Kennedy last week, and top it all off with some talk about Antero Niittymaki's trip through waivers and uncertain future.

As always it's a lot of fun and a helluva way to start your week.

On that note

I found it interesting that Matt based his impression based on how Emrick says “drive”. Reminds me how Frank Caliendo in an interview admitted he perfected his Charles Barkley impression on how Barkley says “terrible”.

“Drive” is pretty much the only thing I can say that sounds like Emrick. So, I leaned on it heavily. It helped, though.

That’s funny about Caliendo. While he may have perfected his Barkley, I think I’m far from a perfect Emrick.
