- Pierre LeBrun has Moore than a feelin' that Moore is going to be Moore than useful for San Jose. He called it a "terriffic pickup".
- Hit you, baby, one Moore time? How about this. Dominic Moore said that if he could choose one team to be traded to, it would have been San Jose. He'll suit up between Mitchell and McGinn. Handzus will play somewhere else, another forward will sit.

I just got here but..
I feel the guy, we haven’t had any sort of consistency all season and this road trip might be the most important stretch of games all year (considering our season so far). It’s fucking frustrating to say the least and we’re down two goals early bc of our usual problems.

And I'm concerned about our D now considering the last few games...
Could be a slump, but we’re not exactly having a banner year so far. I’m very appreciative for our past success, but let’s be honest, we don’t look like a top 3 team in the league so far IMO. And what’s troubling me isn’t so much our offense, but our DEFENSE, especially as of late. Colin White is perhaps the biggest disappointment. Championships in just about every sport start and end with D. Should we be pursuing a #4 defensemen INSTEAD of a top 6 forward? And please don’t say the Murray is a good #4 D-Man. He is a physical stud and I love the intimidation factor he plays on other teams, but his feet are terrible and his lack of agility I think outweighs his physical play. So, should be we pursuing a #4 D instead of a #6 O?
And I would have liked Gil...
Even though he’s not top 4, he’s huge, blocks shots and I think an upgrade over Murray.
Eh, he’s been really shitty 5 v. 5 this year. Not that Murray’s been great, but that would likely not end up being an upgrade overall.

Our PK needs help desperately, even though we’ve been better as of late. The playoff require taking every area of the game up one to two notches, and I don’t know if our D corp as currently constructed can rise to that level. Gil is known for his stellar PK play.
And although I hate the Canucks with a passion...
It is their D that is the engine of that offense. And Edler is a stud.
It's tough to say WHAT our D is
As it hasn’t been healthy all season.
We need to see what Demers can give us when healthy. If he can’t turn it around, then yes, we need more bodies on D.

I don't necessarily agree...(and Zidlicky)
We have two very good, bordering on elite puck mover and power play studs (Burns/Boyle), one excellent young defensive defenseman who sometimes gives us some scoring (Vlasic), two young unproven players with potential (who will be better is debatable: Demers/Braun) and three other physical guys who I quite honestly feel will hurt us in the playoffs (Murray, White, Van). Therein lies the problem. I miss Ian White and feel he should have been kept, but I like Zidlicky’s puck moving ability, and really liked him when he was with the Preds with Trotz. His contract is expensive, but I don’t he’d be too expensive at the deadline and could be moved before next year to avoid his ensuing cap hit.
His numbers this season are terrible

But he’s been unhappy, Minny hasn’t been so good (especially as of late) and I like his speed and passing (which plays very well into our system of crisp passing out of our own zone and mobility along the blue line when we’re in the offensive zone. (And thanks for replying, I didn’t think anyone would take interest in this proposition).

I'm not going to say that yet. We've seen the team go in as President's Trophy winners and as low seeds lucky to get in
As Boston showed us last year and Philly before that, (and the Giants in football subsequently) is that it’s all about peak performance at the right time. Pace yourself, don’t get injured if you can help it, try to win the division for first round home ice and then bust your chops during the playoffs.
