This is a superstition I've been practising for a few years now, and one I've admittedly fallen behind on during my busy schedule, but... Whenever the Sharks have a nasty loss (as in, one like the St. Louis loss on Saturday where nothing seems to be going right, not like the Buffalo loss on Thursday where we did everything right but got stoned by a great goalie), I throw my jersey in the wash, to essentially wash off the fail. I've found it works EXTREMELY well in the playoffs over the last two years, but I also credit it to the mid-season turnaround last year. On top of that... I haven't washed my jersey since the start of the road trip. x_x

The derp part of my brain honestly believes this is the cause of the Sharks' recently patheticness... Perhaps if we all wash our jerseys between now and Tuesday, the Sharks will win like 10 straight games and finally become the team they have the potential to be. :D (Anything's worth a shot, right?).

DO NOT wash your jersey during a winning streak, because it will wash the win off. The yogourt you spilled on it during Pavelski's hat trick (theoretical) could be good luck!!!
