Im infuriated as of right now. As a Sharks fan it makes me sick to see now that the two other california franchises have a cup and the Sharks do not. Also as a huge fan of Marty Brodeur i am bummed to not see him lift the cup one more time.

I will not take anything away from LA as they played hard and tough throughout the playoffs but I will say that the quality of competition was minimal at best. Vancover once again rolled over with shaky goaltending. The Blues, although they beat the Sharks quickly, decided not to show up in the LA series. Pheonix's only saving grace was the beast that is Mike Smith, but as he waivered slightly we all saw the Coyotes crumble as a team. Nothing at all against New Jersey, but I didnt have the pegged for the cup at the start of the playoffs. I think that LA clearly played tough, smart playoff hockey, and deserve the win, but again who the hell cares?
