Getting away from all of the Nash/Marleau/ Ryan hype that is going on, I am pretty excited for the sharks D next Season. I can't be the only one, can I? 2 seasons ago our solid D players were Boyle, Vlassic, Murray, and White (the good one). Next season its shaping up to be Boyle/Stuart, Burns/Vlassic, and Braun/Demers. That's a huge upgrade! Even still the off season still may prove to show another D upgrade (Hjalmarsson?). With such a solid D I can't help but to see a familiarity to Chicago's D 2 seasons ago and be excited about it. Feel free to critique my pairings but I think Boyle/Stuart would a very intimidating blue line especially on the PK.

And I'll include the goaltender in my excitement for the D. Staylock is finally looking like he will be in net during at least part of the regular season. If I had it my way I would have him compete with Sexsmith for the backup spot in the very beginning of the season and then let the winner of that (likely Staylock) compete for the Starter spot with whoever that ends up being. What do you guys think?
