For the last month all I've been hearing about, is how the Sharks will be making big moves and shuffling big names this year. June 22-23 was the NHL entry draft, and almost every sports blog on the internet was saying watch for the sharks to make big moves at the draft..... what did the sharks do? Sign Brad Stuart who basically insisted on moving back to San Jose anyways. So in other words the Sharks didn't do squat! Now everyone is saying expect the moves to happen July 1st when Free agency opens... personally i don't think a block buster deal will happen this year, if anything the sharks will end up signing some nobody 3rd line guy like Travis Moen, or Mikael Samuelsson. What i want to see happen is 1, get rid of Patrick Marleau... i know he's done alot for San Jose and he's still a talented player blah blah blah but i watch every sharks game either live or on T.V and yes he puts up good numbers, but he is by far the laziest player on the sharks, he's clumsy, and extremely awkward when he has the puck. It's time for a new 1st line winger to play along side big Joe while he has a couple years left in him! And 2, get rid of Niemi while we can!
So the big question is... With Free Agency opening tomorrow, What do you think San Jose will do this off season?
