According to Kevin Kurz (http://twitter.com/KKurzCSN/status/227884329580236800), Zus was suffering from a hip injury most of this last season. If true, this could be a possible reason for a lack of production during 2011-2012 (i.e. Dan Boyle's broken foot for the first 20ish games last season). I was always annoyed by Zus' successes during his time in L.A. and was very excited when his acquisition was announced last summer. During the recent world championships he produced some nice points for Slovakia as well. With this new information combined with his connection to the Lokomotiv tragedy, I think I'd be willing to give him a mulligan.
I am among those very disappointed by Zus' lack of production in 2011-2012. Did the organization now this all along? Are we willing to give Zus another season? Does this solve our 3rd line problems for next year? Your thoughts?
