Gone but not forgotten.
Slow news day month? Absolutely. But it's worth noting that the Sharks announced today the sweater numbers that will be worn next season by offseason acquisitions Brad Stuart and Adam Burish as well as the new numbers current players Jason Demers, Andrew Desjardins and T.J. Galiardi will be changing the backs of their sweaters to display. Which, of course, means Desjardins will no longer don #69 (it's hilarious) meaning those digits are currently out of circulation in the NHL. Save us, Mel Angelstad, you're our only hope. At any rate, here's a chart of players with their old and new sweater numbers:
| Player | Old # | New # |
| Adam Burish | #16 | #37 |
| Jason Demers | #60 | #5 |
| Andrew Desjardins | #69 | #10 |
| T.J. Galiardi | #37 | #21 |
| Brad Stuart | #23 | #7 |
Take your old #7 Stuart sweaters out of mothballs, mourn the loss of Desi's old number and update your NHL 12 roster files accordingly.
