What does this mean? Why is this so important? Demers taking the number 5 jersey means a certain Colin White will not be wearing it next year. Although it was pretty obvious White wasn't coming back, we now have official proof. I'd consider this as much of an official announcement from the team that White won't be returning as we're going to get.
