Clowe's suspended, Gomez, Braun and Sheppard are back in, and the Sharks clash with the Stars for the first time this season in the final game of the road trip.
Ryane Clowe has been suspended indefinitely by the NHL after leaving the bench at the end of last night's loss to Chicago to respond to Andrew Shaw's brutal and illegal hit on Joe Pavelski. Clowe won't be in the lineup tonight against Dallas and we won't know when he's eligible to return until after his disciplinary hearing on Monday. Given what Clowe has provided the team so far this season, it's hard to muster any type of outrage at this decision. Scott Gomez draws into the lineup, finally centering talented wingers, and the Sharks shouldn't miss a beat. Here's some pre-game reading ahead of the 5PM puck drop:
