"This isn't an ideal situation, and it's certainly something that you don't want to go through," he said. "But I believe I belong up there. It's up to me to prove that I'm still the player I believe I am."

Versus will return to DirecTV today, ending a nearly 6-month standoff during which the network wasn't available to DirecTV customers. The network will be included in the same packages it was before the disagreement.

2. How many air miles have you earned this season? – Pietro Brezzo
McGinn: I don’t know. I did an interview in Worcester and they told me I’ve flown the equivalent of going to Australia and back three times. I get to keep the miles for some of the airlines, but not all of them.

That interview of course, was the one TCY and I did with him over the Olympic break.

Kinda cool.

I don't like seeing anyone injured, but if Campbell is gone for the season, it makes Chicago's defence look a lot less scary than it currently is and might help the Sharks' chances in the playoffs if they get that far. (A lack of a top-tier puck mover on the 2nd pairing will probably make their bottom lines less effective too.)

From KuklasKorner, "He (Marleau) should be the Selke front-runner." The post also says that no one west of the Central Time Zone has ever won the Selke. Imagine that an East Coast bias.

Although the Sharks roared back to score six in the third, McLellan is none too happy with the Sharks' play through the first two periods.

On Murray: He was hurt blocking that shot that eventually was tipped in past Nabokov. He tried to come back and play, but experienced "soreness" and left in the second period. Doesn't seem too serious, but another injury to a top four defenseman wouldn't be great.

Worcester Sharks also ranked #1 farm system for 2009-2010.

Like many of you, I'm incredibly confused/irritated as to why we don't see more of this guy (injury aside, of course).

Maybe he's just trying to beat Gordie Howe's record of playing in the league at 52, but you gotta respect a guy who laces 'em up in the NHL at 48.
