Hiller injured tonight, Ducks using AHL callup
I've been watching the Anaheim-Columbus game tonight, and Hiller was knocked out in the first period with a leg or groin injury. Ellis got hurt a few days ago so they have an AHL callup in goal right now with zero NHL experience.
Trading within the division is always risky, so I don't know if a move would end up happening for Nitty or whoever.
That said, is there anyone on the Ducks roster that would fit the Sharks' needs if the Ducks panic and try to acquire a goaltender?
Greeting Fear The Fin. I made it a New Year's Resolution to start following hockey more, and the Sharks are my local team so there ya go
Now, given I've never really followed hockey much before and I doubt I'll ever really learn about most players. But I would like to learn about our team's current players. Would you guys suggest just going to Wikipedia and read up on the current guys, going to a specific site, or maybe even you guys could help me out?
Thanks
Any San Franciscans planning on driving to the game tomorrow? I do not have a car, and would like to avoid the awful ride back on Caltrain. I'm willing to chip in for gas. Thanks!

Do I feign surprise, or how's this work?
"The questions for anyone after surgery are ‘How fast do you want to come back? How hard do you want to test your body’s limits?’ " Stalock said from home. "I’ve never had a serious injury before, so I’m finding out what it takes to recover. Walking was a big day for me. That was a big step."
Doctors have told the former Minnesota Duluth All-American that he cannot have contact in his sport for one year from his surgery date. That means Stalock could resume on-ice training in February, 2012, at the earliest, near the end of the regular season with the Worcester (Mass.) Sharks.

Part of what baffled the Canucks was that just last series against San Jose, they felt the Sharks delivered two dangerous -- and potentially suspension-worthy -- hits that were never disciplined. Daniel Sedin was the recipient of one of them, and Rome the other.
"Romer gets killed down in San Jose and nothing happens, and obviously now he laid the hit and he gets four games," Daniel Sedin said. "It's a tough call. I've seen the same kind of hit before and nothing happens."
