Rangers News: Rangers Lose Shelley, Sign Boogaard
After a bit of a contract dispute with the Rangers, enforcer Jody Shelley has decided to sign with rival Philadelphia Flyers according to Bob McKenzie of TSN. The deal is for three years at $1.1 million per, which is basically matching Colton Orr's deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs last summer....
We interrupt this Sunday Open Thread to talk about Brooksie's article in the NY Post
You have probably already seen Larry Brooks article in the Post today, where he talks about Glen Sather having a "Blueshirt Blueprint" for the future. I love how it only took 8 or 9 years of "living in the now" to realize there has to be a plan for the future. Annnnnnnnnnnnyway......... A few...
Rangers Review: Jody Shelley
When Jody Shelley became a Ranger, I thought the trade was unnecessary to be honest. Brashear had just cleared waivers and Brandon Prust was assimilating well into his checking role. As much as I doubted him, Shelley played his enforcer role well and exceeded many expectations by...
Rangers Alumni: An Interview with Chris Kotsopoulos
This will be the third time I will have had a chance to sit down and chat with Chris Kotsopoulos, who spent one season with the Rangers back in 1980/81. He has always been good to me when I've needed an interview, so before I get to the main body of this article, I just want to tell everyone to...

Positivity!
Oh, wait! This team is only "mostly dead".Wow. What a fucking game! Who would have guessed that I could attend a Ducks/Sharks game where Joe Thornton fought but Jody Shelley wouldn't? Great work by Steve Montador and Brad May in each instance.Add in a Giguere shutout and a Pahlsson out-of-the-box...
Sharks Gameday: Black Jerseys, Huh?
So, you may have heard there's this little thing called, erm, BlackArmor debuting against the Caps on Saturday night. It's black (duh) and not a heck of a lot different from the old black jerseys. Guess those early reports were wrong.(The good news? There's not a Seagate logo to be found....
