[Open Thread] Game Sixty-Seven: Ottawa Senators at San Jose Sharks

This one has the potential to be as good as the Canadiens game. Ottawa started out the season like nothing could possibly stand between them and a second straight Stanley Cup appearance, loaded with firepower led by the trio of Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley, and Jason Spezza. Lately, though, things have been brutal for the team from Canada's capital. They've lost seven of their last ten, the coach was recently sacked and replaced by the GM who was the coach last year, and goalie Ray Emery has behaved with all the maturity of a two year old on a sugar binge. Other than that, everything's just peachy for the team with the somewhat creepy logo (why didn't they stick with their first one?).

Their troubles aside, the Sens still have the aforementioned threesome albeit possibly pared down to two since Alfredsson is dealing with muscle spasms. Expect more of the freewheeling fun from the other night as Los Tiburones set out to show Ottawa they have more nightmares at the Hotel California than a bunch of water fowl.

Okay, let's drop the puck.
