In a move that breaks with the common goaltending formula in San Jose,will get the start tonight against Phoenix. Greiss has been excellent this year, posting a 1.99 GAA and .928 SV%, and with an upcoming four day break between games Sharks Head Coach Todd McLellan decided to unleash The Squirrel upon the masses. We're expecting some saves in the neutral zone topped off with a couple poke checks in the faceoff circle.
David Pollak is also reporting on Twitter that there were no surprises in lines or pairing at the morning skate, so any of you hoping for another comeback will have to wait.
