Tonight's match should be a good one. Guessing that no matter what the outcome, the Sharks are going to outshoot the Canucks tonight. And someone is going to be pissed either way.
From the world of Sharks hockey, and other non-Sharks hockey:
- The fact that the Sharks are carrying three goalies was a popular subject today. Here's Dave Pollak of the Mercury News' take.
- Also, Doug Murray is back and Colin White is now out. Convenient how these things seem to happen. More Pollak here on the subject.
- A snippet from the Todd McLellan's post game that didn't make it into our recap. The coach is in awe of Brent Burns' ability to put a ton of mustard on his shots. However, the coaching staff has suggested to the Sharks' cornerstone defenseman that he could spare some of that mustard for a bit more accuracy. Look for that tonight.
- In the wake of several other concussions, Shea Webber of the Nashville Predators has been diagnosed with one as well.
