Nine days from now, the Sharks and Canucks will meet at the Tank to kick off the 2013-14 regular season for both clubs. Tonight's preseason game between the Pacific Division rivals provides a pretty complete preview of that upcoming matchup as both teams are slated to ice lineups which closely resemble their opening-night rosters. As is always the case in preseason, the line combinations are educated guesses at best. San Jose also has John McCarthy and Matt Pelech listed on its roster and it's possible either of them draws into the lineup, although not likely based on the combinations Todd McLellan utilized in practice this morning. The game will be televised on NHL Network at 7:30.
