Here's the full Sharks postseason injury report

It's a Stanley Cup playoff tradition as hallowed as the handshake line: the annual postseason injury report documenting every fracture, tear and dislocation players managed to soldier through. It's been over two weeks since the Sharks were eliminated but the team finally got around to disclosing injury information today as part of a lengthy conference call Doug Wilson conducted with the media. As Wilson made clear, the release of this report wasn't to make excuses but perhaps it provides some added context to player performance in the seven-game loss to the Kings. At any rate, it's convenient to have all of this stuff in one place. Here we go:

Brent Burns - torn thumb ligament

Jason Demers - foot fracture

Tomas Hertl - still recuperating from in-season MCL and PCL surgery

Patrick Marleau - torn wrist ligament, torn oblique

Joe Pavelski - torn labrum (underwent postseason surgery)

Raffi Torres - still recuperating from pre-season ACL surgery (underwent postseason cleanup procedure)

Marc-Edouard Vlasic - upper-body injury, knee injury

The real headline of Wilson's call, of course, is that Dan Boyle and Marty Havlat will not be returning to the team while Brent Burns will be moved back to defense. We'll have a lot more on all of those things tomorrow.
