2015-16 Sharks Season in Review: Logan Couture

Logan Couture makes a great case for the cliche “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.” The Sharks struggled in Couture’s absence and “mysteriously” turned things around when he came back. He led San Jose in scoring in the playoffs and once again proved to be an invaluable member of the club.

Since there seems to be no lasting damage done from either of his freak injuries, I’m excited to see what Couture will bring to the table next year. He continued to improve in 2016 and I expect no less from the extremely talented forward in 2017.

The Highlight:

I know I’ve used this highlight before, but this is absolutely my favorite Logan Couture goal. His celebration exactly mirrors how I felt watching him put the final nail in the St. Louis Blues’ coffin.
