Tuesday Sharks Links: Goldobin leads Russian comeback that falls just short

  • With Team Russia down 5-1 to Team Canada in yesterday's gold medal game at the World Junior Championships, Sharks prospect Nikolay Goldobin took matters into his own hands with a goal and assist in the second period to pull the Russians to within one.   • In other Sharks prospect news at the WJC, 2nd round pick Julius Bergman wore the goat horns in Team Sweden's bronze medal loss to the Slovaks as his his cross-check led to a five-minute power play which Team Slovakia cashed in on. [London Free Press]
