Micheal Haley has been reassigned to the Barracuda after one game with the Sharks.

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned forward Micheal Haley to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL, @sjbarracuda).

The 29-year-old Haley currently leads all Barracuda skaters with four goals and six points (two assists) in three AHL games this season. He scored the first goal in Barracuda history and also paces the team with two power-play tallies. In 57 career NHL games with the NY Islanders, NY Rangers and Sharks, Haley has recorded two goals, one assist and 174 penalty minutes. Haley has appeared in one game with the Sharks this season.

The five-foot-ten, 205-pound native of Guelph, Ontario, was signed by San Jose as a free agent on July 10, 2014.

Now he can spend some time in a league where his particular skill sets are more appreciated.
