Merry Christmas from Fear the Fin to all who celebrate it. We know you're almost certainly missing hockey already, so we've got good news in the form of the annual World Junior Championships. Starting at 4 a.m. PST on Saturday, you can fill your entire morning with extremely talented children playing ice hockey, including a trio of Sharks.

All games can be found on NHL Network, with the United States taking on Canada at 10 a.m.

Game 1

Group B: Czech Republic vs. Russia, 4 a.m.

Game 2

Group A: Switzerland vs. Sweden, 6 a.m.

Game 3

Group B: Finland vs. Belarus, 8 a.m.

Game 4

Group A: United States vs. Canada, 10 a.m.

The United States taking on Sharks prospect Rourke Chartier and team Canada is obviously the highlight of the day, but if you're more interested in checking out future Sharks you'll have to get up a couple of hours earlier. Both Timo Meier and Noah Rod are playing for team Switzerland against Sweden bright and early.

We'll have a gamethread open for both the Switzerland game and the USA-Canada contest and we'll get a roundup post going to keep you up to date on all three Sharks players in the tournament.

Update: Earlier draft mistakenly said Meier and Rod were Finnish — they're Swiss. Sorry about that, serves me right for writing this so late at night.
