World Junior Hockey 2016 schedule: Switzerland takes on Denmark

With day one of the 2016 World Junior Championships behind us we get a second opportunity to see Sharks prospects Timo Meier and Noah Rod in action today as they help Switzerland battle Denmark.

Rod scored and Meier registered five shots as the Swiss were shellacked by Sweden on Boxing Day. They’ll look to fight back against Denmark, who didn’t play in the tournament’s opening day. Denmark lost to Canada 8-0 in the quarterfinals of last year’s tournament.

As a reminder, here are the standings after the first day of action.
