Sharks vs. Islanders: Lines, gameday thread and where to watch

San Jose hosts the Islanders for an early afternoon contest.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to a Friday afternoon on ice! If you've got the day off, congratulations! If you don't have the day off, join the club! I'm sorry! San Jose hosts the Islanders for the only time this season as the Sharks look to win their third game in a row.

There was not a morning skate today, so things are very much up in the air for San Jose. Here were the projected lines from their last contest, but keep in mind that the actual lines will likely differ from this.

I think Aaron Dell will get his third start of the season today since the Sharks host Anaheim tomorrow night. Dell got his first career start (and win) against the Islanders earlier this year.

Sharks Projected Lines

Patrick Marleau - Joe Thornton - Joe Pavelski

Joonas Donskoi - Logan Couture - Joel Ward

Matt Nieto - Chris Tierney - Mikkel Boedker

Micheal Haley - Tommy Wingels - Kevin Labanc

Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Justin Braun

Paul Martin - Brent Burns

Brenden Dillon - David Schlemko
