After defeating Anze Kopitar and Connor McDavid in the first two rounds of the cover vote, and Vladimir Tarasenko and the St. Louis Blues in the WEstern Conference Final, Joe Pavelski didn’t quite get the votes needed to put him on the NHL 17 cover.
Tarasenko will grace the cover instead, which isn’t so bad when you consider we could’ve been staring at Kopitar’s face on the cover all season. Other positives: It’s not a Chicago Blackhawk! Okay!
Okay. I’m fine. This is fine. I’ll still be buying a copy, because I’m a sucker and a loser.
It's official, @tara9191 has won the #NHL17CoverVote! https://t.co/eC71ScsozW pic.twitter.com/ZipCrZDP6G
