If you live in the San Jose area and want to see some Sharks prospects in action, I’ve got good news. The Sharks will hold their annual prospect development camp from July 8-12 at Sharks Ice in San Jose.
The practice on July 11, which runs from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., will be open to the general public on a first-come first-served basis. The prospects summer scrimmage will also be held at Sharks Ice because the Women’s Gymnastics Trials take place at SAP Center.
Tickets for the scrimmage are reserved for Sharks 365 ticket members, at least at present. Given the relatively low seating capacity at Sharks Ice, my guess is it’ll stay that way.
Nikolay Goldobin, Timo Meier, Barclay Goodrow, Rourke Chartier, Kevin Labanc, Adam Helewka, Daniel O’Regan, Marcus Sorensen and Mantas Armalis are all expected to participate in the annual tournament.
