Timo Meier and Noah Rod highlight the roster of the Sharks 2016 prospect development camp, released today. The camp will be held from July 8-12 at Sharks Ice in San Jose with the annual scrimmage taking place on July 12. The practice session on July 11 will be open to the public.
You can see a full roster here.
Some of the more interesting prospects (other than Meier and Rod of course) include forward Nikolay Goldobin, goaltender Mantas Armalis and fourth-round pick Noah Gregor. the Sharks second-round pick from the 2016 draft, Dylan Gambrell, will also participate.
The Monday practice session goes from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and seating is first come, first served. Given that the Sharks are coming off a Stanley Cup Final appearance, I expect there to be a bit of a crowd. The scrimmage will be held at noon on Tuesday, but it sounds like unless you’re a Sharks season ticket member you’re out of luck.
If you do end up going, let us know how it goes! This is a great opportunity to see some up and coming Sharks in a very intimate setting.
