Sharks make 10 cuts to training camp roster

Eric Roy is the only player headed to the ECHL.

The San Jose Sharks made 10 cuts to their training camp roster today, including a handful of 2016 draft picks. Noah Gregor and Mark Shoemaker were both sent back to their junior teams while Eric Roy is the only player sent to a non-junior squad. He will join the Allen Americans (ECHL).

Obviously this early in the game there aren’t any big surprises, but here is the list of 10 players. You can find an updated roster here. Press release follows.

SHARKS REDUCE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER BY 10 PLAYERS

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the following try-out players have been returned to their junior clubs:

Luke Philp - F

Darren Raddysh - D

The following draft picks have been returned to their clubs:

In addition, the following player has been assigned to the Allen Americans of the ECHL:
