San Jose Sharks return two players to junior clubs

The San Jose Sharks returned two players to their junior clubs today. Jalen Chatfield, who was with the Sharks on a tryout, has been sent back to the Windsor Spitfires. Fifth round draft pick Manuel Wiederer was also returned to his junior squad (Moncton Wildcats).

Wiederer scored 64 points in 54 games with the Wildcats last year and is a promising forward prospect. The German turns 20 in November and as such is only playing in his second junior season.

SHARKS REDUCE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER BY TWO PLAYERS

SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the following tryout player has been returned to his junior club:

Jalen Chatfield - D

In addition, the following Sharks prospect has been returned to his junior club:
