Sharks vs. Avalanche: Lines, gamethread and where to watch

Let’s take first place in the division.

The Sharks and Avalanche meet for the second time in three days with San Jose looking for its fifth win in a row. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. PT at the Pepsi Center; it’s the Sharks’ first and only trip to Denver this season and will likely be our last chance to meet up with former Shark Matt Nieto this season.

Timo Meier rejoins the San Jose lineup tonight on the fourth line and Martin Jones gets his second-straight start against the Avalanche. Jones played well against Colorado on Saturday and this opens the door for Aaron Dell to get the nod against Winnipeg on Tuesday. Complete lines are courtesy of Friend of the Blog Kevin Kurz.
