Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Star Wars night coincides with a visit from fellow Disney mascot Gordon Bombay himself tonight, as the Sharks (7-5-0) host the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (6-6-1). Sell your Disney stock today, the injury-ravaged Ducks have struggled without their top two centers Ryans Getzlaf and Kesler in the lineup.

Via NHL.com:

"The days of hollering and screaming and that are over. That has to be internally brought out from them too. If they're not going to find ways to stimulate themselves, then we're going to have to find some ways to shock some people or do some things that normally the players don't like." -- Ducks coach Randy Carlyle on what he can do to spur his team to better starts

"I know they've got some key guys out. The thing about this league is, it doesn't matter. You have to find a way. The one thing about them is they're still finding a way to win games. There's a reason they went as deep as they did last year is they got a lot of depth." -- Sharks coach Pete DeBoer on facing the injury-depleted Ducks

Sharks Lines

Kevin Labanc -- Joe Thornton -- Joe Pavelski

Melker Karlsson -- Logan Couture -- Tomas Hertl

Joonas Donskoi -- Chris Tierney -- Mikkel Boedker

Timo Meier -- Barclay Goodrow -- Joel Ward

Joakim Ryan -- Brent Burns

Brenden Dillon -- Justin Braun

Dylan DeMelo -- Tim Heed

Martin Jones

Aaron Dell

Scratched: Jannik Hansen, Ryan Carpenter

Injured: Paul Martin (ankle), Marc-Edouard Vlasic (head)

The Sharks defense pairings look pretty brutal tonight with both Vlasic and Martin out, but at least Dylan DeMelo gets to do something. Barclay Goodrow, center and financial advising firm, draws into the lineup in place of Ryan Carpenter, but how exactly the lines will shake out will have to wait until the pre-game skate.

Ducks Lines

Rickard Rakell -- Kalle Kossila -- Corey Perry

Andrew Cogliano -- Derek Grant -- Jakob Silfverberg

Nick Ritchie -- Antoine Vermette -- Ondrej Kase

Logan Shaw -- Dennis Rasmussen -- Chris Wagner

Hampus Lindholm -- Josh Manson

Jaycob Megna -- Brandon Montour

Sami Vatanen -- Kevin Bieksa

Ryan Miller

John Gibson

Scratched: Korbinian Holzer, Jared Boll, Francois Beauchemin

Injured: Ryan Getzlaf (face), Cam Fowler (knee), Ryan Kesler (hip), Patrick Eaves (illness)

Veteran, Olympian, and eye liner model Ryan Miller is likely to get the start tonight. He'll be hard pressed to top his season debut, a shootout win over the Carolina Hurricanes back on October 29 in which he made 34 saves on 36 shots.
