Sharks vs. Coyotes: Lines, gamethread and where to watch

New, comments

San Jose hosts the Desert Dogs.

NHL: San Jose Sharks at Arizona Coyotes Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Micheal Haley draws back into the lineup as the Sharks host the Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. at SAP Center in a Saturday Night On Ice matchup. It’s San Jose’s only game at home before going on a four-game road trip in the Eastern time zone. Martin Jones slips into a more comfortable pair of pants while defending the net.

Haley will ostensibly play center, which should make for an interesting fourth line adventure. Ryan Carpenter goes to the press box as Haley comes onto the ice, which is a shame in part because he and Haley have been so darn good on the ice together. Friend of the Blog Kevin Kurz has the lines and some other notes.

Patrick Marleau will have his 500th career goal recognized prior to tonight’s contest, so make sure you tune in to the game early.
