San Jose hosts the Vancouver Canucks in the first post-trade deadline game for both teams at 7:30 p.m. The teams participated in a deadline-day deal but will not get a chance to utilize their new acquisitions thanks to visa issues, which is a lot like being told you get to unwrap your presents on Christmas but can’t play with them until the New Year.
Where to watch / listen in San Jose
CSN-California / KFOX 98.5
No Jannik Hansen in the lineup didn’t stop Pete DeBoer from messing around with the San Jose lines. Chris Tierney will center the fourth line while Marcus Sorensen gets a chance to play on the third line with Tomas Hertl and Joel Ward.
Aaron Dell gets his first start since Feb. 18, a 36-save win against Arizona. He has posted a sub-.900 save percentage in just two of his games this season and in only one of his starts. Now that the deadline has passed, expect to see more of the backup netminder.
