San Jose looks to end its longest skid of the season as it heads to the American Airlines Center for the second time on its road swing. The Sharks battle the Stars at 5:30 p.m. PT looking to get back in the win column with Aaron Dell in net and Jannik Hansen back in the lineup.

Timo Meier gets knocked out of the lineup as Hansen draws in. Marcus Sorensen and Micheal Haley make up the fourth line with Chris Tierney. You can see the complete lines below courtesy of Friend of the Blog Kevin Kurz.
Danny O’Regan was officially reassigned to the San Jose Barracuda prior to the game. He played well enough in his short stint with the Sharks, but his call-up was always going to be a temporary one. Meier’s scratch is less warranted from where I sit as the rookie forward has played at least to the level of Marcus Sorensen and beyond that of Micheal Haley’s.
Regardless, the return of Hansen to the lineup should help balance out the rest of the lineup. It allows Tomas Hertl to center the third line and moves Patrick Marleau back to the second line. Pete DeBoer insists on keeping Joel Ward on the second line while Mikkel Boedker plays with Hertl and Joonas Donskoi, but other than that this is a more complete lineup.
