San Jose got its butt kicked by the Dallas Stars last night and has the opportunity to turn this boat around against the Nashville at 5 p.m. The Sharks have lost five in a row with last night’s win being the worst of the bunch. So let’s move on! Please!
Things don’t get many easier against a Nashville team that is getting its act together. The Predators have won two games in a row and are 5-3-2 in their last 10. They’re currently holding onto the second wild card spot by eight points.
The Sharks are 1-1 against the Predators this season, splitting a pair of home games by scores of 4-1 and 3-1, respectively. This is the final meeting of the season between the two teams.
There are a lot of things going wrong with the Sharks, but averaging a goal a game over the past five games is chief among them. It doesn’t help that they’ve allowed 3.2 goals per game, of course.
Whatever. Go Sharks.
