Sharks vs. Jets: Lines, gamethread and where to watch

Joonas Donskoi returns to the lineup

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning at San Jose Sharks John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

The Sharks take on the Jets at 5 p.m. at the MTS Center looking to get back on track after a lackluster performance against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday. Joonas Donskoi is expected to return to the lineup for the first time since Jan. 23 according to Friend of the Blog Kevin Kurz. Expect him to replace Marcus Sorensen in the lineup.

Kurz supplies today’s lines. I expect Aaron Dell will get the start after Jones played well against the Wild yesterday. He can enjoy his day off today. I will allow him.

Sorensen had a rough game on Sunday and while he’s almost certainly a better NHL player than Micheal Haley, we all knew this was coming, right? Jannik Hansen is still not ready to make his San Jose debut thanks to visa issues. This deal is getting worse all the time.
