The Sharks acquired Jannik Hansen from the Vancouver Canucks on the trade deadline nearly a week ago and since then we’ve been waiting for the Danish forward to make his debut in teal. That wait will finally come to an end.
DeBoer also said Hansen is "in the clear" and expected to play Thursday at home vs Washington (story on Hansen coming shortly) #SJSharks

It won’t be tonight against the Winnipeg Jets, unfortunately. Hansen is expected to debut against the Washington Capitals on Thursday at home — tickets are still available, according to StubHub.com. You can get in for just $28 before fees! What a steal!
San Jose sent Hansen to the Canucks for Nikolay Goldobin and a conditional fourth round pick. The Dane could slot anywhere in the top nine, though given the way the top line has played the past couple of games I wouldn’t be shocked to see him given an audition with Joe Thornton and Joe Pavelski to start off.
That may depend on how Joonas Donskoi plays tonight as he’s expected to return to the lineup on the third line in the stead of Marcus Sorensen.
