Golden Knights at Sharks: Lines, gamethread, and where to watch

The Knights make their SAP Center debut tonight.

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden Knights are in town and they aren't messing around. The newest addition to the league has gone 2-0 in the preseason so far.

Keep in mind, there's no real correlation between preseason and regular season success. So while this won't necessarily be indicative of how the Sharks will fare against them in their future match ups, it's still going to be a first look at a potential new division rival.

The Golden Knights were given an expansion draft tailored to make them more competitive sooner (something the Sharks sure could've used in their early seasons). The draft ultimately didn't make the Golden Knights as competitive as they could've been on paper, but maybe GM George McPhee knows something we don't.
