2020 NHL All-Star Game: Rosters, gamethread, and where to watch

In case you missed it yesterday, let’s take a quick second to re-live the only reason we care  about this league event: our sweet smiley boy Tomas Hertl, wearing a Justin Bieber mask during the Accuracy Shooting Challenge:

We’re all so proud.

Tonight, however, is the All-Star Game itself. Here’s what to expect, rosters, and how you can tune in. Come join us at puck drop to chat in the comments.

Format

Four teams of All-Stars, separated by division, will compete against each other in a two-round tournament. Each game will have two ten-minute periods and be played at 3-on-3. If the games are tied after 20 minutes, a shootout will determine the winner.

Round One will see the Eastern Conference teams face each other, followed by the two Western Conference teams. The two winning teams will play each other in the final.

The 2019 Champions were the Metropolitan Division and the MVP was Sidney Crosby.
