This is fine, everything is fine.

It’s going to be an interesting afternoon in St. Paul. The Minnesota Wild will be debuting new head coach Dean Evason, taking over after the team relieved Bruce Boudreau of his coaching duties.

That’s far from the only drama, as on the other side of the ice, the Sharks are EK-less, in both the 9 and 65 versions. Evander Kane has been suspended for three games, while Erik Karlsson is ending his season early after suffering a broken thumb in last night’s victory over the Winnipeg Jets.

Expected Scratches: Jake Middleton

Injured Reserve: Joel Kellman (lower body), Logan Couture (fractured ankle), Tomas Hertl (knee), Dalton Prout (upper body), Erik Karlsson (broken thumb)

Suspended: Evander Kane
