The San Jose Sharks continue on the road tonight, taking on the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in their second of four road games. With a disappointing loss to the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, the Sharks face another battle coming into New York, as the Rangers are on a bit of a hot streak, winning seven of their last eight games. However, they are on the second half of a back-to-back, winning 5-2 over the Carolina Hurricanes last night.
Evander Kane will make his return to the Sharks’ lineup after completing his three-game suspension. Though Logan Couture is on this road trip, he is still not making his return to the ice. The Sharks started Martin Jones against the Devils — Aaron Dell will get the call tonight.
Expected Scratches: Nicolas Meloche, Antti Suomela
Injured Reserve: Logan Couture (fractured ankle), Tomas Hertl (knee), Dalton Prout (concussion), Erik Karlsson (broken thumb), Melker Karlsson (lower body)
