The San Jose Sharks have recalled left-handed center Alexander True from the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League, the Sharks announced Monday.

True has played 40 games with the Barracuda this season and recorded 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists). He has been with the Barracuda since the 2017-18 season and skated in 176 total games. He has 108 career AHL points.

True signed with the Sharks as a free agent on July 18, 2018. Prior to signing, he had played for the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League, and for Denmark’s junior teams.
